Terms of use
2026 edition
The short version: the archive of schools in Turkmenistan is built by the community. You keep ownership of your content; we only display it in the archive and never sell your data. The rules are below, in plain language.
1. General
The school archive (the “service”) is a non-commercial resource where the community gathers the history of schools in Turkmenistan: photographs, graduating years and memories. By using the service (as a guest or a registered user) you accept these rules. Not knowing them does not excuse violating them.
2. Account
Adding material requires an account with a confirmed email. One person — one account. You are responsible for your password and for everything done under your account. Accounts registered by bots are not allowed.
3. Submission and moderation
Schools and photos are reviewed by moderators before publishing; a rejection may include a reason. Threads, replies and comments appear immediately, but moderators may hide or delete anything that breaks the rules. The administration may reject, move, hide or delete material.
4. Rights to material
Everything you add stays yours. By adding a photo you grant the service a non-exclusive right to store and display it in the archive (non-commercial use). Photos are the backbone of the archive and remain in it. Removal is possible only in exceptional cases (rights violation, mistake) at the administration's discretion. You can ask to delete comments, threads and replies.
5. Photo criteria
We accept images related to schools in Turkmenistan. We reject: low-quality images where it is unclear what is shown; general portraits and family photos without a school connection; too small — under 400 px on the longer side; too large — over 10 MB; images stretched in an editor or made as a screenshot; heavily altered by neural networks or colorized; images with large watermarks or third-party logos; images with faces or details deliberately “censored” in an editor.
6. Messages
In threads and comments the following are prohibited: insults and discussion of people's appearance or health; hate speech based on race, nationality or religion; profanity; knowingly false information; publishing private data (full names, phone numbers, addresses) without consent; political and ideological debate; flooding and low-content messages; private correspondence; unsolicited advertising. Moderators may delete messages.
7. Authorship and sources
If the author or source of a photo is known, state it in the caption or description. Do not add other people's work or claim authorship. You are responsible for the material you publish.
8. Nicknames
A nickname must not contain profanity, insults, or mislead others by impersonating the administration or a moderator.
9. Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it stable and your data safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and are not liable for possible losses, downtime, third-party actions or user material. Published material may be viewed and saved for personal use; further use is at your own risk.
10. Changes
These rules may be updated; the current edition is always published on this page. By continuing to use the service you accept the updated rules.
